It's seems a life time ago but the plan was always to write a novel when I moved to Colorado in 2016. The first draft is almost complete and as a nod to that particular milestone, I'm going to upload some of the chapters onto this site. I've also sent out queries to a few agents which, to date, have got me exactly no where. This is both a relief and pisses me off. I can't honestly say that the thing is completely done and dusted but I've re-read parts of it and some of it has legs.
The primary feeling about this particular endeavor is relief. I have at least completed what I set out to do. Weirdly, I'm not particularly bothered at this juncture that the thing isn't completely done. I'm more relieved that I haven't totally squandered my days since the early months of 2016. That at any rate gives me some comfort.
